Please note that the kitchen closes at 2:45pm

We DO NOT accept to go orders through third party websites or Apps like Grubhub, UberEATS, DoorDash etc.

Please Note: Afternoon Tea is by reservation only made at least 24 hours in advance. Please call us to set up your reservation!

Brunch and Lunch is served on a first come, first serve basis.

You are welcome to enjoy a pot of tea, or cream tea at any point while we are open without a reservation.

Notes Regarding Your Visit to The Book and Bee:

Due to certain scenarios that have created struggles for our hard-working staff, we have had to create a few guidelines.

We request that visits to the Café are limited to 90 minutes in order to keep it fair for the other guests waiting to enjoy the experience.

We only take Reservations for Afternoon Tea. Reservations must be made via phone to Victoria at 828-845-4242.
Brunch, Lunch, and cream tea are first come-first serve.
Afternoon Tea Trays are priced per person, and with tax and tip included. Splitting of trays is not permitted. Everyone in the party must be doing Afternoon Tea in order to have a reservation.
*Gluten-Free and Vegetarian Trays are available upon request at time of booking*
We hold a Credit Card Number to reserve the Afternoon Tea. Our policy is that we charge that card for all trays reserved if you do not confirm your reservation 24 hours in advance.
We have the right to release your Afternoon Tea reservation if you do not confirm 24 hours in advance.
Groups of more than 8 will have an automatic 20% gratuity added.

Individuals are not allowed to add additional charges to their groups bill in order to create a profit for themselves. Individuals are also not allowed to sell anything within the Café.
Due to rising food costs- prices are subject to change.
Due to the nature of our small kitchen- we cannot guarantee cross-contact with gluten, nuts or dairy. If you have a severe allergy, please keep this in mind. Thank you!
